we’ll all have this picture on our blogs.
I opened the door Thursday night to find two ruffians on my doorstep. They needed a place to stay, and, wouldn’t you know it, they had all this stuff for me in their van, so I let ‘em in. And they stuck around. We stayed up late, ate with wild abandon and disregard for calorie counts (because, you know, it’s vacation), drove all over hither and yon, spent the weekend finding shining examples of jingoism, introduced Cor to her first Target, saw Wanted (which did not include enough Angelina for any of our tastes), got our toes did, strolled about the farmer’s market making friends with dogs and men selling barbecue sauce, put on our “parent faces” for dinner with mine (no cursing or open discussions about masturbation), and spent, as usual, most of an afternoon in a cemetery.
I love my ladies.
