WEEK 25
-
Fat: 15 pounds. Still doing much better than last time. Can still wear a few old shirts and skirts.
-
Eating: Still stuck on those turkey salad sandwiches (with havarti, lettuce and tomato on croissant) from Heavenly Ham. I have one at least twice a week. They’re perfect. I’m also sampling every single flavor of Ben & Jerry’s. Imagine Whirled Peace is a favorite.
-
Body weirdness: Lots of spider veins. No new stretch marks, but the old ones have come out in full force again. My hair is looking good. Am getting a bit of a second chin. Dry sinuses are giving me the occasional nosebleed.
-
Emotional weirdness: Nothing major. I’ll cry at movies and the radio news, but I did that before. I still hate people and have random bouts of pregnancy rage.
-
And the baby: Is dandy. He (still enthralled with the fact that I’m having a boy) is growing well. Heartbeat is strong. Lots of kicking, which can now be felt by other people. And no, we don’t have names yet. He will likely have at least four middle names, so this is a big project. And anyway, I’m not revealing the name until he’s born.
-
Anything else: Only a little over three months to go. Have glucose test at next appointment, and will then start seeing doctor every two weeks. Am slowly collecting baby items from others, but the baby registry is updated and you know how much I love presents.

I still have friggin’ spider veins! I, too, had nosebleeds…not bad…just a ‘lil’ blood…the guts of my nose hurt like mad though!!!!!

Oh yeah. It looks like you’re wearing black yoga pants. I lived in mine. Seriously. I would wear them to work. How funny is that?

I love my black pants. I would live in them if I didn’t only have one pair.
