Meet Katie, Kya’s new hamster. She arrived at our house yesterday. I had to run to PetCo five minutes before they closed yesterday evening to buy a house for her. Now, I consider myself a fairly intelligent lady, but I think the assemblage of that pink plastic hamster cage may be one of the most difficult things I have ever done. Anyway, Katie is very sweet and tiny and she sleeps a lot. We all like her very much, except for Scotty, who finds rodents a little bit creepy.

By the way, I’m blogging with dilated pupils. I went in for my annual eye exam this afternoon, and I get this done every single year, I always forget how much the dilation process fucks me up. I. Can’t. See. I’ve taken the rest of the day off to recover. Oh, and to listen to the Yankees play opening day.

i hope you’re not a fan – fuck the yankees.

dr. daddy goes in for his first eye exam since he was about 12 next week. i think his pupils being dialated for legal reasons is going to b funny. it will definitely be nice when he won’t need to sit 1.5 feet from the television to see.

i plan on making him get river cuomo type glasses.

Ick. I hate hamsters, (the smell) and dilated pupils. I have two dogs, and lasik surgery.
